Brother Charles L. Jones joined Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. in Alpha Beta Chapter, Jackson State University. He has actively served in five (5) Regions: Southern Region (1984-1986), Gulf Coast Region (1987-1993), Southeastern Region (1995-1999), Western Region (1999-2003) and Great Lakes Region (2003-Present). He has held several impactful leadership roles including the 32nd Great Lakes Regional Director, Great Lakes Regional 1st Vice Director, International Human Resources Director, International DSC Committee Member, International Elections Committee Member, State of South Carolina Director of BBB, State of Illinois BBB Coordinator, Chapter President, and Chapter Vice-President. He is the recipient of the International President’s Award (2021), Great Lakes Region Leadership Awards (2022, 2024), and Chapter Leadership Awards (2014, 2015, 2016). In addition, he has been an active financial member for nearly 25 consecutive years and is a Sapphire Life Member (#18SLM).
Brother Jones is the CEO and Founder of C&B Consulting LLC (2013). He has over 25 years of expertise in Human Resources (HR) Leadership and retired as an HR Executive with Mondelez International (formally Kraft Foods Inc.). Some of his clients include Metra of Chicago, Intel, US Agency for Global Media, iHeart Radio, BMO Harris Bank, AbbVie, Astell Pharmaceuticals, Memphis Light Gas & Water (MLGW), The Honest Company of California, YMCA of Madison, Girls Inc. of Greater Houston, Lake Forest College, College of Lake County, IL, Eaton Corporation, Flex, Millennium Corporation, New York Public Library, Jackson State University, University of Wisconsin-Madison, and University of Michigan Prior to joining Kraft Foods Inc. in 1993, Bro. Jones served six years as an Army Officer in the 1st Cavalry Division, reached the rank of Captain, and is a Gulf War Veteran. In 2018, he received the Lake County, IL Most Influential African American in Business Award and in2024 he was a recipient of the prestigious Chicago Defender Men of Excellence Award.

Brother Jones is a published author of five books. Two (2) of which are bestsellers on Amazon. He has served on several boards to include the National Small Business Association(Washington, DC), University of Illinois – Lake County Extension, March of Dimes (Lake County IL), INROADS of Chicago, 100 Black Men of Madison WI, YMCA of Madison, and American Legion (IL). He has been an active member of several organizations including Shriners, Prince Hall Masons, 100 Black Men, and a Life Member in the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion. He earned a BS Degree in Finance from Jackson State University and an MBA from Lake Forest Graduate School of Management.
